KoSEA Korean Society for Education through Art

KoSEA, the Korea Branch of InSEA, is a global organization of art education formed in 1954 as an organization in cooperation with UNESCO. It is currently involved in over seventy countries around the world. KoSEA, since it was founded in 1999, annually organizes an international conference and publishes the Journal of Research in Art Education, in which international scholars participate, thus greatly contributing to the qualitative improvement of Korean art education in Korea.

The Journal of Research in Art Education is a meeting place which offers academic knowledge exchanges and shares research results of new and current international academic art education theories and practices both domestically and with Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other Asian countries as well as with several countries in the west. The Journal of Research in Art Education welcome a comprehensive range of research papers on theories and practices in this area, such as studies of the special relationship between education and art, special trends in art and education fields and their relationship with art education, case studies of social and cultural values?? affecting art education, ethnographies, and historical research.
