Dear members of the Korean Society of Women's Sports!
I am Heo Hyun-mi, the 30th Korean Society of Women's Sports president. 2024 is the 70th anniversary of our society's founding. I want to express my gratitude to the past presidents who have worked hard for society for a long time and to our members for their efforts and service. Since 1954, everyone has recognized our society's significant contributions to Korean sports and women's sports studies in general. As such, the need for a change in social roles and identity has also grown, and now is the time for a new leap forward. Accordingly, as the 30th president, I will strive to meet the following demands of the times:

1. I will lead the strengthening of society's identity and the academic development of women's sports.
2. I will successfully hold an international academic conference commemorating the 70th anniversary of the society's founding.
3. I will continue to seek cooperation networks with external women's sports-related organizations (institutions/organizations).
4. I will strengthen exchanges and solidarity with related organizations to establish gender equality sports policies.
5. I will work to reorganize the society's articles of association/regulations/organization and improve finances.
6. I will work to enhance communication and friendship among the society's members (executives/members).
7. I will regularize the capacity building and exchanges of the next generation of female sports scholars.

We need our members' active participation and interest to achieve these goals more than anyone else. Thank you for your support and involvement.
